Public Devotions in Honor of Saint Philomena will take place this Sunday, January 15th. The schedule of the morning will be as follows.
9:05 AM: Recitation of the Holy Rosary
9:30 AM: Regularly scheduled Tridentine Mass celebrated by our Parochial Administrator, Fr. Darrell Roman followed by prayers to St. Philomena and veneration of the relic.

We offer this January devotion on the Sunday traditionally known in some places, particularly at her shrine as the Feast of the Patronage of St. Philomena. It is also the Sunday on which the oil of St. Philomena is blessed at the Shrine in Mugnano de Cardinale, Italy. This oil is only available from the shrine in Italy or at her official Archonfraternity centers and is always blessed on the Sunday after January 10, the day traditionally considered to be the birthday of St. Philomena.
Please come for our devotions and let other people know about this. Some folks in the parish have already reported favors after praying to St. Philomena for her intercession.
Come and be counted among those who have been touched by the powerful intercession of St. Philomena.
“Let us all pray that St. Philomena watch over and protect our parish and all of our parishioners.” - Fr. Roman, Administrator of St. Josaphat Church

For future reference: Devotions to St. Philomena take place three times a year at St. Josaphat. Once in January (for blessings on the parish for the New Year and in honor of her birthday), once in May (in honor of the discovery of the relics) and once in August (in honor of the historic feast day)
