External Solemnity of St. Josaphat this Sunday
We will celebrate the External Solemnity of St. Josaphat this Sunday at the 9:30 AM Tridentine Mass. Veneration of the Relic of St. Josaphat will take place after the Mass.
We will not be able to raise the painting of St. Josaphat above the altar this year due to some technical problems that came about after the High Altar’s re-painting.
Feast of Saint Philomena 2013 Photos
This year’s celebration of St. Philomena was observed on Sunday, August 11. Our celebrant was Fr. John Bustamante from Assumption Grotto Church in Detroit, MI.

I would like mention that the Archconfraternity of St. Philomena has started a worldwide petition drive to have St. Philomena’s feast re-instated in the Liturgical Calendar.

The following pictures are from our St. Philomena devotions at St. Josaphat that took place on August 19, 2012. The celebrant for the Mass and devotions was our parochial administrator, Fr. Roman. We have been holding devotions to St. Philomena since August of 2005.

Mass and St. Philomena Devotions: 1/15/2012
Devotions in honor of St. Philomena were held on Sunday, January 15. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Darrell Roman, our parochial administrator. Fr. Roman also led the devotions which concluded with veneration of a relic of St. Philomena.
Our next St. Philomena devotional day is scheduled for May 20 (Subject to change)

20th Anniversary Solemn High Mass and Dinner in Windsor, Canada
A Solemn High Mass was celebrated on Sunday, October 23 in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Tridentine Mass Community in Windsor.
The celebrant of the Mass was Fr. Jonathan Robinson, C.O., founder of the Toronto Oratory and St. Philip’s Seminary. Deacon Richard Bloomfield was the deacon and Fr. Peter Hyrtsyk acted as subdeacon. The Mass setting used for this liturgy was Louis Vierne’s Messe Solenelle.
Following the Mass, a special anniversary dinner took place at the nearby Holy Name of Mary Church Hall.
Fr. Robinson gave a talk to those gathered. Father also answered some questions from the audience.
Tridentine Mass with Fr. Roman and Devotions to St. Philomena
On Sunday, August 28th, our new pastor celebrated Mass according to the Extraordinary Form for the first time since his arrival in July of this year.
Following the Mass, Deacon Bloomfield led the congregation in devotions to St. Philomena which included the veneration of her relics .
Solemn High Mass for the External Solemnity of Ste. Anne: Final Post
The small statue in the picture comes from Sainte-Anne de Beaupre. It was put on display for the feast.
Following the Mass, Fr. Johnson blessed everyone present with the first class relic of Ste. Anne and offered the relic for veneration.
